Tree 1 – Generation Two – Child #6 ? McCuaig

Children of John MacCuaig and Ann or Nancy MacDougall

Child #6 - This child was christened 10 July 1819. The parents were located at Giol, Kildalton, Argyll, Scotland.  No gender or name was recorded.
1819 / July 10 / [ blank space] to John McCuaig    Giol.

As stated in previous posts John and Ann seem to be the only John McCuaig couple located at Giol having children in this time period so even though the mother’s name is not given in the christening record we feel assured that this is the right couple.

A big problem is that we don’t know anything more about this child other than it was christened. There is a possibility that  Peter ( the child listed just previously as Child #5) and this child may be the same person. Because at the present time we have no information regarding Peter’s birth and because we know so little about this child we cannot assume that they are the same person. They may be the same person. They may be two different people.  We just don’t know.

There don’t seem to be any additional mention of this child in any of the rest of the family's records.
